testing coolant sensor (pcm, not dashboard)nfa 05-07-2007, 11:34 AM While changing water pumps, I decided to test my coolant temp sensor as per shoebox's instructions. I set the multimeter to ohms and touched hte leads together to verify that I am getting a reading then proceeded to put the leads to each of the sensor prongs. Im not getting any reading. Am I doing this wrong or does this mean the sensor is not working????? Injuneer 05-07-2007, 06:44 PM A direct short would read "0" ohms. A complete open circuit would indicate infinite resistance.
