With about the 40th modifcation to my 3 stage nitrous control schemadic it is about 98% done, I started on the wiring diagram today (barely). There is on way I can spary on 3.08's and turn 1/4 mile times worth any thing. I am going to have a mean nasty 383(450hp and 480tq, forged moving parts) made for me while I'm in japan and have the trans and rear end reworked and when I come back I will use the SB in there now for trial by fire learning (and if theres any thing left of it when I drop in the stroker I'll sell it).
It's all for the IROC Z in my sig.
What gears should I pack my 10 bolt with? 3.23's for top speed or 3.42's for power or shock the world by lifting the frount wheels off the ground with 3.73's and an Eaton posi?
I'll be keeping my 255/50/16R's wheels for a while.
I'm going to add a race overhaul kit too the trans, the best one I could find, Heuges(sp?) for $330 with every thing.
And I need to pick a converter.
For 3.23's I think I would need some thing like a 10'' converter with 3200-3400 stall (not to much of a daily driver I think).
And 3.42's I was looking at a 10'' or 11'' around 3000 stall.
I realy don't know what to do for 3.73 gears.
Any ideas would help.
If any one wants to see my little nitrous drawing I'll send it to you, it's a tech schemadic.
