Its been a long time since i have been to the track i really want to say thanks to all of the help from all the people on this board on helping me build my new motor and getting the TH-350 in my car:)
When i built the motor i was planing on selling the car but i never could force my self of doing it so i did not go to far on the motor less than 1000$ in the motor.

60 ft 1.74
330ft 5.04
1/8 7.80
MPH 88.0
Im looking to pick up maybe .10 to .20 with some 12 way adj Hal's front and rear
And maybe a .10 with a little more tuning on the OBD1
My goal is running consistent 7.50's N/A w/ 1.60 60ft's @ 89 or 90 mph

onebad96T/A- What kind of tires are you using? If you could get some mid 1.6 60ft times you might could hit some high 7.6s. If you get to running 7.50s you should be able to run some 90+ mph.
I run 1.5x 60fts but I have a manual and drop the clutch at around 4000 rpms with MT ET Drags.

Good luck man. Work hard and I hope you are able to run the times.

Im running Mickey Thompson 28x10.5x15 ET Drags, i figured it would be a good combo w/ the 4.56's
Also to add im not using any type of ignition becuse my MSD Digital 6 went out about a month ago and i sent it back to MSD and they told me it was not fixable:mad: It will be the one of the next things i buy for my car along with the Hal's

I still run the factory ignition on my car. I guess their might would be 5-10 hp if I changed to MSD. I like the MSD ignitions that let you set the timing for each cylinder.

Man, sax either your car is extremely light or you get a hellacious 60 ft... to be able to run a 10.90 with only 117 mph... Im impressed....whats your secret?

It has made a few passes over 117 mph. That is the best timeslip I have. I have 2 timeslips where the mph was 122. My cars tips the scales over 3000 lbs(with driver in it). It still has everything on it, that came from the factory(ac,power windows, airbag, all that nonsense). Maybe the computer at the track goofed up on that timeslip with the 117 mph. I just put what my best timeslip said. To say this again and I might put it in my sig, the car has only made 3 10 sec runs. It usually runs 11.0s and 11.1s.

The local track right beside where I live(midlands dragway), the mph is off by about 7 mph. The timeslips I get their say 99mph on na runs through the eigth, and Darlington says 92mph through the eigth on na runs.

What kind of short times are you getting Sax? Your car runs awesome on motor. Maybe you can give my buddy a tip or two. He has a 331 with TW heads and X cam. It has run 8.0 @ 89 in the 1/8, and 12.5 @ 113, on motor. He's cutting consistant 1.86s on nittos. We are gonna go back to Darlington soon on slicks, but he broke the trans, so probably not for a week or two. I see you have 4.10s, what gear do you go through the traps on the gas? Where do you shift? We have 3.55s in his car, and I think that is what is killing it. Anything you could tell us would be great. Thanks!

brain- The big killer of his car is the nittos. I run MT ET Drags and regulary hit 1.55-1.59 60ft times(without the gas, with gas the 60 fts dip to the 1.4 range). If he put the slicks on he would pick up alot. With the 4.10 I go through the traps in 4th. I can take 4th to around 130 mph. My shiftlight is set at 5400rpm so somewhere in that range I shift. He needs 90/10 struts, subframe connectors, lift bars that he has worked with and adjusted, trick springs, and slicks. I leave the line at 4000 rpms which helps me to get the 1.5x 60ft times, also picks both wheels about 4-6 inches off the ground. If you have anymore questions just ask.
