Pics of my TA after some paint work!

I did a lot of work on my paint on my TA. I went over the whole thing with the Meguiar's Clay Bar and you would be amazed by how much stuff it picks up off your paint. I then used a medium rubbing compound to buff it, then buffed it with Meguiar's Scratch X (finer than fine pretty much). I topped it off with three coats of Mother's Carnuba Wax by hand and it looks 100x better than before. Got rid of a lot of scratches and swirl marks, some of which were pretty bad. I am very happy with the way my car looks for having 10 year old paint with 110k miles on it.

looks very good.. I waxed my ride yesterday, but am thinking about the claybar deal. Which kit (or whatever) did you buy?

im normally not a fan of lt1 T/As, but that looks friggin awesome :thumb:

Wow, fine detail job! I would lose the windshield banner and that small decal on the side of your back window, it would take away some busyness. I think some rear inserts and maybe some side "Trans Am" decals would finish it up. Good Work!

It looks like the car cleaned up nicely. I have had good results with the Meguiars Scratch X as well.

Good job... although your kind of hitting the rev limiter with Riceyness.

Take those blackouts off, the Hood, as well as the windshield banner and you should be okay. Cause here in the appearance section we don't like anything that makes a car stick out. We like em plain here.... even if it was factory installed.

do you need to apply meguiars scratch x with a buffer or can you do it by hand? Sounds like this product works wonders...

You can do it by hand, that is how I have done it and it still works well.

Black is the best color for the f-body. Yours helps make my case.

Ohh well I apologize then. I thought you were ridiculing me for saying take off the windshield banner. You know what happens when you assume things...lol. My bad.
