rough idea for shift point built 700r4confused327 04-17-2007, 04:16 PM i'm getting my trans built and the shop wants to know what shift point i want. Pro Built Automatics 04-18-2007, 05:16 AM With the duration at .050 of 215 degrees, 650 cfm carb, the shift points should be around 5,200 rpm at the maximum, maybe even less. The rpm air gap is not going to help you here, the performer, yes, rpm performer, no. The cam and carb cfm are too small for the rpm performer. confused327 04-19-2007, 12:40 AM the specs of a stock LT1 cam are around 201/208, i don't see how my bigger cam would want a lower shift point. something in the cc503 range will probably find it's way in there later on, thats the reason for the rpm air gap. | ||
