Well i ve learn a lot on engine/suspension/motor but im really lost when it comes adjusting/tuning the car.

The basic would be to start by logging the car to see if there is nothing wrong so:

-What would i need to datalog my car beside a portable pc?(wich cable/wich software)

-After that if i want to correct something(like timing or fuel curve) i would only need a program(wich one)?

Yeah those are 100% pure noob question :o

Thank you :D

I use an AKM cable, and TTS Datamaster for datalogging with a laptop. Especially for a noob, I'd suggest exchanging datalogs with one of the mail-order tuners... they can make adjustments based on your datalogs, and know what they're doing. If you want to tune it yourself, Tunercat is a popular choice.

Tuning program: Tuner Cat OR LT1 Edit

Good data logging program: Data Master

I was going to ask this exact question. but since it's already been asked i'll ask another in here.

do those programs you suggested (tunercat and Data Master) work for the ls1?

Tunercat will not work for your car as it is OBD-I only. You'll need an OBD-II tuner.
