91 GMC S15 Jimmy - Great winter car!
91 GMC S15 Jimmy - Great winter car!
I've got a 91 Jimmy for sale.
The stats:
$1200 b/o
Vehicle located in Readsboro Vermont (50 minutes east of Albany NY, 50 minutes north of Pittsfield MA)
129k miles
4.3 liter fuel injected v6
4 speed auto
Power windows, locks, mirrors, tilt, cruise, air
Digital dash
NADA value: Low Retail: $1,575, Average Retail: $2,375, High Retail: $2,950
KBB private party value: Fair: $1,825, Good: $2,265, Excellent: $2,565
The good:
Runs like new.
4 wheel drive works great, shifts into 4wd easily and smoothly
New front brakes (pads, rotors, lines).
New battery.
4 new tires.
Clean interior.
Reliable.
The bad:
Rusty door bottoms & right rear 1/4 behind wheelwell.
spraybomb paint job on hood.
Minor body damage at rear.
Driver door needs power window motor installed (new motor included with sale)
I picked this up in September because we bought a house in the hills and I wanted my fiance to have 4 wheel drive. She drove it all winter and the vehicle performed flawlessly. She bought an 02 Wrangler, so we don't need it anymore. It'll make a great car for a teenager, a winter vehicle or a utility vehicle.
I don't check this board reguarly, so email jim85iroc@yahoo.com if interested

honestly, I'm not sure if I ever tried it. I bought it in September and it sat until it finally snowed in January. Tonight if I get time I'll start it up and listen to verify that the compressor is cycling properly.
