I'm looking to put a set of headers on my 68 camaro ss, 350ci w/power steering.
I have a set on now that are to lo- they drag when I hit bumps in the road. They go about 5 inches below the frame. Can I get advise on the best type, and is the ceramic coating good? Thanks

everyone on here will tell you ceramic coating is the only way to go
look into hooker, hedman, dougs headers just to name a few for the older muscle cars

I won't tell you that ceramic is the only way to go. I've seen coated headers that look worse than my non-coated headers. I also had un-coated Hookers that lasted 12 years for me and they were on the car when I bought it.

I guess I'm looking for someone who has a first generation camaro w/a 350ci
and power steering that can tell me what header they have that gave them the clearence.

when you're looking at headers for ground clearance, look for ones with slip-fit connectors

I think I put some coated Hooker 2451 headers on my old 68 with PS and AC. It was real close around the PS box but they fit. And that was on a 94 LT1 motor in a 68 Camaro.
