I ordered my X-pipe and now that I was looking at some pics I'm not sure if I can make it work. With a tunnel mount TA am I going to have any clerence to do true duals, or am I going to have to get a y-pipe and single catback? If you have done dauls with a tunnel mount please post some pics if you have them.
Heres a pic of basically how I want to do my exhaust...

If you look at the pic, the X is right where the mount for the TA bolts on. I know that I can shorten the legs on the X-pipe, but can I make it work or should I find a catback and off road y-pipe?
Thanks in advance and if you have pics please post them.

Well I have found a pic that has a tunnel mounted TA and true duals with an X, but it looks like it will be a pain in the ass to do, but I'll do mine like this if I have to. I might have to run open headers to get my gears done, but heres the pic, I can't remember whos car it is, but the work is simply amazing...

Typically running a tunnel mount TA will require a fabbed up exhaust unfortunately.
I'm running my current xpipe as a bandaid exhaust until I finally pick up a Torque Arm and have the real thing custom made for me.

Hey thanks..Its my car and I'm lucky to have a fabrication shop with a very talented fabricator not too far from me...You see that it can be done, but it was not easy and not cheap...But the results speak for themselves...He even polished the system since these pix were taken...Now if I could get to the track to see if its worth anything...

Your welcome, thats a badass exhaust setup. Do you have any more pics or sound clips of it?
I'm going to try to make mine like yours, I'm pretty good with my fabbing skills (probably not as good as your guy though) and have access to a shop with a lift so I might have to trailer my car to his place to do the work. I'm going to give it a try with it blocked up at my parents house first, but I can see getting pretty pissed if it doesn't start going right. I wish I could take it to an exhaust shop, but I'm slowly running out of money and the only guy around here is usually baked to the point that he can hardly remember his name so.....HAHA I guess I'm on my own :(
But if you had some more pics it would really help me out and I'd really appreciate them :D BTW what kind of ground clerence do you have compared to some of the other guys with X-pipe and duals?

Well, here's my original thread about the exhaust...scroll down for the pix:

I have 4" of clearance at the lowest point, being the mufflers...Everything else tucks up very nicely...LT1s have that damn weird brake line that gets in the way and we went lower on the drivers side because of it...I'm sorry to say that I don't have a sound clip, but I've been working on getting one with my wife's camera...The sound is fantastic...Like an old big block Chevy at idle and it roars at WOT, but not too loud, and its actually quieter than the Borla cat back run with no plate, that it replaced...

I actually dug up your post and saved all of the pics :D I will be using Hooker LTs with ball & flange connectors rather than the 3 bolt flange to gain a little clerence, but right now I'm going to try to draw out the bends that I will need and hopefully I will be ably to use most of the X pipe that I have coming, otherwise I'll have one for sale
I'm going to be using the bullets for a while until I get sick of the drone, but they were cheap and thats pretty much all I can afford right now HAHA
But I'll take alot of pics along the build up to try to help anyone else out that wants dauls with a Tunnel mounted TA
