Looking down the road

Hey all,

I've got a 383 with a forged bottom end, LE2 heads, and a cc306. However, this cam's drive-ability (lots of cam surge, very loud, no bottom-end) sucks IMO. I plan to swap it with a cc305 on 114 LSA, yes, lose some HP, but gain a lot of drive-ability back.

Anyway, I figure why not kill two birds with one stone? If I install the cc305 now, how will it fit with a SC down the road? I currently have about 9.5 - 10.0 to 1 compression, so I'm thinking it should work pretty good with a 6 - 9 psi kit, right?

Finally, besides the cam what is a good SC kit I should keep my eye out for?

Sounds like a stout motor! Good luck with it and about the supercharger...my T-trim would be a good start! :) I sent you a PM.

ttrim 10psi would be perfect. an S trim would be too small for that motor.
