I just finished installing my pacesetter Mids this weekend and the last thing I tryed to install were the air tubes and the bung is to deep:confused: !!! I had to take them back off and shorten the bung by 1/2 inch to get the pipes to to bottem out.
Did anyone else have this problem? I even bought new tubes because the old ones had bad threads.
It's some thing to look for if your going to use the pollution stuff.

I tightened mine down 2 days ago and never noticed any problems. It seemed to tighten forever but appears to be good and snug.

I bought them off this site and the guy said that they were the new style with no fitment problems. But I can't get the number 2 and 5 spark plug out without taking the headers off, and even when I tightened the air pipes down they were loose! Oh well they are on now and I used the good plugs so I should not have to change them for a while.

A few of the plugs are a pain to get on and off. I bought the stubby socket and use a crescent wrench to take them on an off. The thing is very small and works great. I would have had hugh problems getting them on the first time without it. I got it from Summitracing for $22. Never needed it until the header install.

Thanks I'll get one.

The third one back on the drivers side is the worst. The plug when you first start to thread it is touching the header in the back. So when you get it a few threads on it will be only a little bit of a gap. No standard plug socket would get on this plug of mine. Stupid design and i had to buy some heat covers because the plug wires when it is on is only about 3/8" away from the header pipe:eek:

The Pacesetter headers were of "Poor Quality"and I had to take them back off and grind down the flanges to make them fit right they LEEKED!!!! I would not buy another set!! When there bad i would buy a set of Eledbrocks TSE.
