will i benefit off a cut out?

right now i have, Edelbrock headers and 3” exhaust system from the headers back, to a magnaflow muffler, cats and all are also still on.Im debating on getting a electric cut out.But i dont really want it just for the loudness,would there be any kinda gains? if it helps any, the motor in the car the cut out will be going on is a 383 stroker.

There would be some hp improvement for sure. How much and if it is worth it is hard to guess. I think the car looses around 1-2 hp by adding a cutout because of the pocket it has, so the air flow is not perfact. I would guess 3-10 hp with it open.

It is a dyno proven mod to add a few extra horse in alot of cases.
