Provide a Counter for 'total time on CZ28'?

I was just thinking I must have a few hundred hours online here, and I would love to see the stats. How about a counter that shows total time logged in, maybe even with details available for specific forums? Would probably need to include a filter to stop counting if there is inactivity, or else just leaving the PC logged on overnight would throw the numbers off. Could also be a value-added feature for premium membership if resource cost is an issue.

Then maybe issue honarary 'e-mail order' CZ28 diploma's to reward high participation in the tech forums just for fun.

Post count is nice but not really an indicator of experience gained from the site. I'd love to be able to multiply time spent here in tech forums by my labor rate and see just how much I've 'spent' on my education here. I'm guessing $10,000 plus!!

I don't think we have any place for it on our to-do list, but it sure is an interesting one.

It would be interesting to see how many hours I've spent on here. I know I've probably got countless hundreds of hours in the lounge alone.

That's something that's probably best left unknown. :o

Jebus! I don't even want to fathom the time I'm on here. I stay logged in too.

Surprised I haven't forgotten my PW.

Yeah, an hour counter would be dangerous.

We'd all probably find that we spend 40 hours on the board for every hour we actually work on our cars. ;)

That would be, my friends, shamefully depressing.

You'd probably find out that you spend as many hours on the board at work as you spend actually working...if not more. ;)

Naw, let the socializers socialize. Leave the post counter for actual contributors who contribute by posting semi-helpful, quasi-technical stuff.
