Tube/L.E.D. exterior lighting

HI fellow Camaro fans I wish everyone a great Easter. I've just seen the video on how the new 2008 CTS exterior lighting works. I noticed GM has something new called TUBE lighting and Stacked vertical leds. Anyway I got to thinking on how this could apply to the new camaro. Now granted this type of lighting would probably be better suited for say the Z28/SS/Yenko etc... I drew up a diagram/render of a more production like Camaro with the Tube and Led lights. The Tube lights are the red u shape at the bottom of each light. The Leds would appear clear during the day, once brakes are applied they glow red. Now the very bottom row of the LEDs on each light would be an Amber color for turn/hazard lights. Anyway tell me what you think and enjoy.http://i3.tinypic.com/446cn6r.jpg

i dont like any type of clear lights unless its reverse lights or headlights....

I think it would be a damn good idea to run with :)

i like the idea of leds just not leds with clear lenses.....that would remind me of atelleza clear led lenses....nice drawing neverless

Here is a continuation of my idea with the TUBE exterior lighting. As explained in the drawing I did, the yellow pieces are what would be the Tube lighting and the blue dots are the l.e.d. lighting. I think the Tube lighting would work great for day time running lights or running lights in general. The Tube lights in the main headlight housing would be good for accenting headlight shape and In my opinion would look pretty neat at night cruising. Anyway tell me your opinions/thoughts on this idea-thanks

I understand your thoughts completely and Im running a fine line between import/altezza. I thought of the clear with the red U shape taillight lenses formation would give the car a clean/upscale look. With no ugly old fashioned bulbs in sight being that the main brake lights were L.E.D. I think the idea could also be easily done with simple Red colored lenses as you hinted at. -Thanks for the drawing comment btw
