Installing headers need a lift?

do u really need a lift to SAFELY install longtubes? i want to install my longtubes and dont know really how high im gonna need to get the car.... any input would be nice.... also wat 02 sensors and extensions do i need to buy?

you dont NEED a lift. i had the front at about 2.5'. just get a good set of jackstands all around and you'll be fine. i've also heard that if you pull the valve covers, both sides can go in through the top

we did it with jackstands all around. Driverside from the bottom, passenger side from the top.

You have to get the car up very high in order to get them in. Just make sure the car is safely supported on jackstands, safety is key. I would stick with AC Delco sensors and 12" extensions should do the trick as well. If your headers are coated, I would drive around with the old sensors for at least a week and break them in.
