Cleaning inside of fuel tank????snakeatinZ 03-29-2007, 01:42 PM I am installing a racetroniX fuel pump kit. When I took the fuel sending unit out, I could see small particals floating in the fuel tank. Can I dump out this gas in a container, clean the inside with a waterhose, let it dry and put new gas in it? I dont want this pump to get trash in it. I read that will kill them faster than anything.
