Well... a car went up for sale on the forum, that has an sts kit. I never realized something about this kit until now

I don't beleive this is correctly installed. Plus the grass makes it look lower then it is.

compare it to the wheels... the pipe still sits lower then the bottom most portion of the wheel..

holy crap.... i've been considering sts for a long time now... this is a scary picture and that piping looks retarded low. i really really hope that it is just installed wrong. :eek:

I believe it was Chevy High Performance that did an STS install on an LS1 last year or something. They showed pictures of it being installed and it hung pretty low when they were installing it. However, once they buttoned everything up and tightened all the clamps and such, the system tucked under the car pretty well. It definitely didnt lood like this one, so I too would presume it is installed incorrectly.

i have seen the underside of a car with the STS it deff didnt sit that low at all

I thought the piping was pretty well tucked up until it gets to the K member? That is the place I would expect to see crushed pipe.
