It was 80 degrees out today so I decided to take out all of my interior and give it a good scrubbing, except the seats . I noticed when i took the carpet out there are small holes in the floor. Im thinking thats how my carpet keeps getting wet, that and bad weather stripping. Are these holes supposed to be there, if not i would like to plug them up with a hot glue gun.

Are they rust holes? If so, I would patch them up.

no, they are not rust holes, they look like factory. they are about 1/2inch round. But I fixed it anyway, I pluged it up with some rubber buttons. But I think thats why my carpet always felt damp. Im also going to replace my weather stripping just to be safe.

Where exactly are they? If they are towards the rear where the seats are, the bolts that secure the rear seat belts go through the floorboard.

Most modern cars have these holes in the low spots to drain water should you forget and leave the windows open or if you heater core goes out, etc.
They should have plastic caps or plug in them normally. All converts. that I've ever seen have them, even the old ones.

they are not suppose to be there and if you want to seal them for good use mp-1 it works awsome.
