Please help: quick question. Y-pipe. About to go bananas...

I did search, you would be surprised that this info cannot be found (or my searching abilities suck).
What is the diameter of stock Y-pipe inlets, where it meets header??? I got a 2.5" band clamp and it's too big :mad: Without further thinking, I assumed it's 2", but can also be 2 1/4 or 2 1/8... And I couldn't measure it now. It's '97 T/A

Thanks, I'll give it a try! I remember, that it appeared, that 2.5" clamp was no more then 0.25" too big.
