hey guys i have a 95 z28..i bought the car and it had one previous owner..alot of miles (highway) but very clean car. When i purchased the car it has just about brand new chrome C6 rims on it.. 17 in the back and 18 in the front..very nice looking and it makes the dark green pop. but i have an issue whenever i try to make sharp turns.. on the driver or passenger side the rim/tire rubs on the inside and makes a really loud noise..which obviously is not good. it also happens whenever i hit some big bumps. any way to get rid of this..some suspension..or just take the wheel off and make a little indention with a sledge hammer.
anyone else had the same issue with these wheels??
Thanks!!

from my experience the rear is what is rubbing around sharp turns and bumps pull them off and inspect the wheelwell and break out the BFH and clearence it yourself,i had to do the samething with my c6 wheels 18s front and 19s out back

Make sure that theres even spacing on both sides of the car between the wheels and inner fender, a panhard bar may solve the problem if the rear end is off to the side. I think your tires are a little too tall, so eather get some 35 series tires or find where it rubs and use the BFH (big ****ing hammer).

you aren't going to get very far on your car without a BFH

BFH = big f***in' hammer :)

Pics of your car? I've been considering doing the 18" front / 17" rear thing, and I'd like to see how it looks.

What are the EXACT sizes of the wheels, including width and offset? Without that info, no on can answer your question.
