Hey guys a week ago i hit a curb with my front passenger wheel. My steering wheel is off to the left and I can see my front passenger wheel toeing out. I took to a shop for an alingment and they told me I bent my spindle. I bought a spindle yesterday and it looks pretty tuff. Is it a common thing to bend or is it more likely that I bent the bracket that the spindle is connected to?

Its very possible for a spindle to bend when a 3,500lb car smacks it into a curb. I would take the shops advise and replace the spindle.

You would be surprised what kind of damage you can do by smacking a curb. Once the shop replaces it, you can always ask them to leave the damaged spindle in the trunk so you can inspect it and make sure they aren't giving you the run-around.

How much did you pay for a spindle?
