Aeromotive A1000, I know its not intank but its inline, could I possibly put it in the fuel line before the fuel filter and just run it like that without messin with the intank or would I have to remove the intank, is this possible without a fuel cell?

you can make sure its the fuel pump by just turning the key to the on position and listen for the fuel pump to turn on.

You can't put an inline pump into a system with a dead in tank pump.... won't work. The dead in tank pump would kill the suction to the inline pump.

I'd check the fuel pressure before jumping to the conclusion that its the fuel pump. Might also want to check the PCM for codes, since a problem with the low resolution pulse from the Opti will cause the PCM to shut down the fuel system.

Try to fix your problem with a logical Approach

Check your Ignition and PCM fuses.
Check for Service Codes.
Check your fuel Pressure.
