Nitro Dave 03-13-2007, 11:09 PM Ok guys its a new year so I thought I would start a new thread to showcase this years custom directports. This first intake I am about to post pics of has inspired me to catch up and start showing off some of our work again.
We had a thread just like this one started last year on another board. It has 236 post and 25,792 reviews. :)
Now for the art work.
This intake is a Hogan intake. With a 4 solenoid directport with rail upgrade. The rails have been annodized black with F-R-E laser etched into the rails. The nozzles are stainless steel Nitrous Express Vortec nozzles. The hoses feeding the nozzles are custom smoked color hoses. The solenoids are Nitrous Outlet bottom exit solenoids. The polished solenoid brackets are custom made and incorporated as the rail brackets as well.

Juiced91Z 03-20-2007, 04:18 AM Dave, i noticed those noids have the nitrous outlet sticker on them....i cant find your line of DP on your site anywhere. I talked to you about 2 months ago on ls1tech about getting my intake plumbed and i was holding out for your line of kits instead of going with an NX kit. got a part number and price for a DP kit?? ill take it to PM's from here out
Nitro Dave 03-20-2007, 09:28 AM We have all the items now to build a directport with 1/8th nozzles. We are still waiting for our 1/16 nozzles from the machine shop.
This intake we used NXs Vortech style nozzles.
Shoot me a pm and we will see what we can come up with.

JSK333 03-31-2007, 04:19 PM Does anyone still make the things that sit under the fuel injectors, so you don't need to drill holes in the intake?
It's still a direct port setup, but just requires those plastic nozzles that sit in the injector holes, and the injectors sit inside them. Then you plumb lines to them from rails.
I think NOS had a version, and maybe NX too. Are they still available? Working? How much (LT1)?

JSK333 04-01-2007, 02:18 PM Are there upgrade kits for existing nozzle systems? I already have the basic NX kit, so I'd be looking at the NXL version.
Nitro Dave 04-02-2007, 03:39 PM You will be better off selling what you have and starting fresh. You will need higher flowing solenoids and all. To buy all the pieces individually will add up quickly.
