Ok.. I started spraying on my lt1... have msd opti, msd coil, msd wires, mallory box... Everything fine.. put in the autolite 104's gapped at .035.. and I have a slight miss like its loading up at idle... and at super light throttle usually around 2k rpms.... Any remedy... needs to be safe for a 150 shot.
Thanks in advance.

those plugs should be fine, allthough most go with the 103's or the NGK tr-6's. try changing the fuel filter, that might help a lot. And i noticed in your sig you have a jeff creech tune, from CAM right? where are you located? you should try RPM in Garner, WAY better tuning up there, Im in j-ville, check out our sight sometime. www.dragslips.com/jville

Sure its the plugs? Try putting in a stock set of plugs at the factory gap and see if the miss persists.

The miss didn't start until I changed to these plugs.. so I know thats the problem.. that and my buddy did the same thing except w/ngk's on his mustang and same problem.

Make sure you did not crack the porclyn on a plug. Also make sure you do not have a bad plug wire. If what was said above about the 103s being the same as the NGK tr6 I would go to that plug instead.

If the porcelan sp* on a plug was cracked wouldn't it cause the miss all the time?? Throughout the whole powerband? I belive the autolite 103's are even colder than the 104s.. I don't know what to do about this problem.

As far as the porclyn being cracked it could miss all the time or just at wide open throttle.
Just something to check.
Do you have a ignition box on the car?

Mallory 685
msd opti
msd coil <--- thought the old coil could be the problem so bought this one. Same issue.
MSD wires.
EDIT: Never misses all the time or at wide open throttle... only at super light loads.. or no load.. idle... or say crusing w/your foot barely just resting on the pedal... press the pedal goes away.

Hmm puzzling.... Are you getting any codes?

None at all..I'm wondering if at that light or no load area of the throttle is where the fuel has a chance to puddle slightly on the plugs.. causing the miss... Is there anything 1 heat range warmer that would be safe.... or if I gapped them a bit higher than 35.
