very nice--they should bring it over here. But the 406-ft-lbs is way too muc for the FWD 6 speed auto to handle.

A small displacement v6 diesel making that kind of power is pretty cool. I definitely wonder what kind of powertrain they have in mind to handle that kind of power.

I have to imagine some form of this motor is going to be the optional small diesel motor we've been hearing about for the regular 1/2 ton trucks.

I really wonder what has taken so long for Chevy/Ford to offer a smaller diesel in the smaller trucks. I would think it'd be a pretty popular option, gas prices being what they are and all.

This article must be fake, only imports can make power with small engines and have more horsepower per liter :p :p .

That engine would be great for the VE too. And the Hummer H3. Lots of good uses for it methinks.

I am pretty sure the 1500 GMT900s will be getting the smaller OHC V8 that was mentioned in an article for Caddy a few weeks back.

Low Sulfur diesel costs are jacking up the prices. IMO, they have been higher then regular for quite a while
