Suspension for 6 speed

What is the best way to go (suspension wise) for a 6 speed car? I want to set up my car so that it will hook and 60' good. I am tired of 1.9 - 2.2 60'. I was thinking QA1's all around but was wondering if there is anything better out there. I want something adjustable so that I can cruise it on the streets, or drive it to the track. This is not for a dd it's more of a Sunday car. Any opionions on this will be appreciated.

The QA1s are not the best or a daily driver street car, they are more suited for track duty only. If you want something adjustable and has good street manners, I would go with the Konis.

But are Koni's going to be too "stiff" for a drag racing setup? :shrug: Or can they be adjusted to a really soft setting, to allow more weight transfer? :think:

BLWNLT1, a couple other things to consider, if you don't already have them, are a set of LCA's (for drag racing, you could go with boxed ... they're even stiffer than tubular ones), LCA relocation brackets, and if you're still not hooking up good enough, then an aftermarket torque arm (you can get both adjustable or non-adjustable, but adjustable will allow you to setup the pinion angle better).

Also, what are you running for tires? :shrug:

Tires are M/T drag radials... What I'm looking for is a setup for maximum weight transfer. I think I'm going to take off the front sway bar when I'm changing struts... See how much that helps me. This car will not be a corner carver

In that case, I would go with the QA1s from front to back. Removing the sway bar altogether or at least unbolting one end of it will aid in weight transfer as well. Finally, if you shed some pounds in the front end, that also helps.

What part# on the QA1's?? I'm going for a simular setup.
