What would be the backspacing for a 15X10 wheel on axles shortened 2.5" on each side. For a 95 trans am.
I have a suspicion of the answer, but I want to be sure. (15X10 bs-2.5??)

Correct.... recommended BS for the 15x10 wheel on a stock axle assembly is 7.5" For a rear that had been narrowed 2.5" on each side, you would subtract 2.5", giving you a 5.0" BS requirement. If you can only get the BS in x.5" increments, it would probably be best to look at a 5.5" BS. Clearance to the inside fender liners might be tight though, with really beefy slicks.

Centerline only has 3.5" or 4" bs on 15X6 telstars. i'm not 100% sure on autodrags or convo pros. It was suggested in the wheel/tire FAQ sticky to use 4.5" bs. Could 4" bs work with a spacer? Would I really NEED a spacer?
Also, 16x8, what backspace?
thanks

What backspace works depends on the width of the wheels. But why would you be putting 15x6 wheels on a narrowed rear axle assembly?

What interference would I run into with 4" bs on a 15x6 rim?
I just ASSumed you knew what I was talking about since YOU WROTE THE STICKY! (insert sarcastic rolling eyes-face)
