My car has stock suspension and does not transfer wait at all. It launches like a brick. I need it to transfer weight to the rear. Is there a cheaper solution other than buying aftermarket stuff. I have heard of buying v6 coil springs. Will that work on my car?

A buddy of mine with a 97 SS convertible used my 94 Formula coupe springs. Car's best 60-ft was 1.30 running mid 8's at over 160mph.

Did he use just the rear springs or the fronts also? Thanks. Also, what kind of 60's did he have on the stock stuff? My best is a 1.9 with stock suspension on 26x10.5 ET streets and still spinning like crazy if I dont feather the gas.

He was running Afco double adjustables and Afco drag springs in the front, QA1 adjustables in the rear, with my Formula springs, mostly Spohn suspension upgrades, except for a PA K-member and a Wolfe sway bar, and front suspension travel limiters.
He was having problems getting under 1.40 60-fts when the car was only running mid 9's. We swapped his Eibach Drag Launch springs for my Formula springs, but made a number of other changes to get it into the 1.3x's, including a personal setup by Steve Spohn.
