Not bad. A bit G35-screwed-a-Bentley Continental GT-ish (and therefore obvious), but there you go. What's the story on this?

BTW, it's an AWD Epsilon with a turbo V6.

I wouldn't be surprised if Saturn gets it here.

At Geneva Motor Show, Opel will unveil the GTC Coupe Concept. The man who design this prototype was Bruan Nesbitt, who is now the design manager for GM Europe. The concept has a few features that won’t arrive until a near future: LED lights, 20" wheels ith bicolor tires and air intakes in the front.

Back end straight off an Acura 3.2 CL, roofline straight off a G35 coupe, front looks like it could be an lexus or nissan...

Man, these european pedestrian impact standard friendly blunt front ends are starting to get boring already.

Actually, this is pretty close to the direction Pontiac would have taken, had they not emasculated Epsilon by dropping the HFV6/turbo and AWD.

Actually the roofline is straight off a G6 coupe, literally!

The bottom picture has 2 layers. The blue one, in the back, is the Opel. The Red one is the G6 coupe, in the forground.

Is the wheelbase different?

I mean the G35 coupe is a very good looking car, and its not like Nissan is the first to offer a car with a fastback roof...

Even if not intended for the US market this seems a fairly blatant rip off, especially with the other elements i mentioned, it looks like someone either threw something together, or put a great deal of effort into mimicing their competitors.

I don't care what it looks similar to. A slick design is a slick design.

I like it.

Overall, I think it looks good. I like the wheels and the subtle spoiler. The intake openings almost make it look like the exhaust is trying to exit from the front.

Brian Nesbitt, the same guy that was behind the designs of the PT Cruiser, HHR, and Malibu.

I like the way this thing looks. If it becomes available in the US, then my wife might end up driving one.

The design is essentially a winner EXCEPT for the horrid and unnatural looking vertical openings around the nose.

The silhouette does look good and reminds me very much of Audi.

Just my 2c.

It does look shorter. But I just based that off of the a pillar and roof.

WOW..that interior looks production ready.

This car should come here as a Saturn..replace the ion?? or is something already replacing that???

I could see it as the next Ion. With a redline version almost like this concept.

very nice car. and if can be done almost like this will give saturn a much needed coupe with sex apeal!!

Inspired maybe, but not rip off. Porshe never sued Nissan for using the 911 back end for the 350Z.

This thing looks pretty cool. I dont like how tall the dash looks or the shift knob. Everything else I like.

Looks like its locked and loaded to be swapped as a Malibu or Aura coupe.

Bring it on :)

Saturn Aura Coupe anyone.........Kind of strange this pops up a few weeks after I made a thread and a rough photochop of a Saturn Aura Coupe.

Its kind of funny, in my thread most people didn't want Saturn to get a coupe. I think there is a market for one, something more upscale than the G6 coupe, and with the Ion dying soon there is a hole in the Saturn line up.
