Well time to fess up, as if I probably haven't before, but I figure most of my post are below the radar or are dismissed as being written by either a simple mimded fool or raving lunatic, but I just got a Mustang Survey in my mail box, cause well I own an 07 GT.

The most relavent bits included

Engine X - 4.6L V8, 300 Horsepower, 0-60 in 5.8 seconds with fuel economy of 17/22, base price

Engine Y - 5.0L V8, 370 Horsepower, 0-60 in 5.2 seconds with fuel economy of 17/23, $1000 more than X

Engine Z - 3.5L V6, Twin Turbo, 370 Horsepower, 0-60 in 5.2 seconds with fuel economy of 19/25, $1000 more than X

20" wheels

Heated washer fluid

Independent rear suspension

Adaptive cruise control

Heated and cooled cupholders

Paddleshift on the steering wheel (allowing you to change gears from the steering wheel)

6 speed transmission

and

Imagine if the engine of your choice was made outside of the U.S by the following Manufacturers. To what extent, if any, would that impact your consideration to buy another Mustang.
Jaguar
Land Rover
Mazda
Volvo

Congrats on your car. Tell us about it.

It looks the TT 3.5 will be optional in a future Mustang GT. With a meaner version (400+ hp) in the GT-350.

wow not like the GT was not a turbo car before. Just before the SVO the GT Turbo had a few moments to shine.
I think if anything it should not be called GT. call it heck SVO..

I think a TT V6 would be neat.

I'd still get the V8 though. ;)

Thanks Z284ever, I find the 370hp 5.0 interesting, at least from the standpoint that awhile back people were asking for a 375 hp 5.4 as a possible contender to the F5 and its 400 hp mill. Also the survey listed IRS as a 200 dollar option. Probably get my next Mustang in 2011 or 2012 and if things materialize from the survey a 370hp GT with M6 and LRA would be me all the way.

The '11 GT will get the 5.8L Boss. Probably around 400hp.

Hopefully, but when it comes to Ford and HP, I dont get my hopes up, It was my understanding that the Boss engine program has stalled again (hope I'm wrong, I also heard it was due to financial problems - this is all internet scuttlebutt of course) and that the faithful will have to make due with the mod motor. Thats not as bad as it sounds, the 2v engine was good for almost 100 hp/liter using modified stock components and a custom intake as well as full exhaust. (well 490hp out of 301 CID)and the 3v engines are worlds better, just displacement handicapped.

I think the 5.0L won't make production. The Boss engine program is currently going full speed forward. Ford may have a 4V 5.4 Mod for the '09 Boss, (the Mustang, not the motor).
