Z/28 Emblem POLL

I dont know if this is debatable, maybe they finalized it, but I sort of like the slash between the Z and 2 instead of just Z28.

Any thoughts?

Thats not a bad idea. I think this time around I would like to see something different in terms of the badging and I'm sure there will be. Maybe there should be a "other" option for the poll as well.:)

That looks nice if people want a bit of difference between the Z and 28.

But Zslash28 (sorry, but that's how I read Z/28) is just unattractive no matter how you do it. (imo)

Well it certainly didn't look unattractive on my 69 Z/28! And 38 years later I still think it looks good, both on the 69 and the future 2009.

the 5th Gen has styling cues from previous generations, so should the emblem but I dont think it should be exactly the same as the 1st gen. Its not a 1st gen, besides it wouldnt go well considering the styling of the rest of the car IMO. However the Camaro logo on the car ends up, the Z logo should match.

And your point would be? I don't recall anyone saying that there was a slash in the RPO code, but there certainly was in the first gen. emblems. OK, you've now told us you don't like that type of Z/28 emblem, we've told you we like it. To each his own, I don't have to put you down to make my likes/dislikes known.

Granted there isn't an RPO for the slash (as far as I know)... But if they are going for the 'retro' theme, I'd say slash it... :cool:

slash baby! Matter of fact... I feel so strongly about this I think the former GNR guitarist himself(now with Velvet Revolver) should be makin ads for Chevy not volkswagen. Gonna go retro go all the way. First gen style had the slash, and if you notice, not a lot of cars are badged that way anymore, its all 1 character followed by some number(s). Keep the slash!
I even added the first gen emblems to my 93 as they look soooo much better.
