LT1 Plate System Group Purchase!!!

Ok guys, You have been asking and we have been listening.

We designed a LT1 plate over a year ago. After releasing it the sales were not what we needed to keep the production going. However shortly after cancelling the part number we started getting alot of phone calls and emails from people wanting the plate system. So we listened and now is your time to step up to the plate and show us that keeping this part number alive for the LT1 enthusiest is supported by you.

We need 10 orders to be able make this deal happen. This will show us that there is a call for the LT1 plate system. We will then go to production and put the LT1 plate back on the market and keep them instock. Show us you guys are serious!!!

Ok this is the story behind the LT1 plate system.

Back about two years ago we started playing with the idea of a nitrous plate for the LS1 and LT1 community.
We were not happy with the current plate design's that were on the market. The current plate designs placed a plate or nozzles behind the throttle body aimed at the back of the intake. By placing the discharge so close to the front runners and aimed at the back of the intake there was the chance of over powering the back runners and missing the front.

So we went on the quest to develope a plate that would give a nice sexy look and properly attomize to all cylinders. After scraping many plates and throwing away many different desighns it finaly happened. A year later we had came up with a design that would attomize well and looked sexy!!!!

Here is how our design works.

In this picture you will see the distribution ports in the plate. This design works by using 4 nitrous ports and 4 fuel ports in each throat opening. The nitrous and the fuel will slam together and create a plumb spraying across the intake port.(NOT AT THE BACK OF THE INTAKE) Then the induction of the motor will pull the mixture into the intake plenum.

This is the full plate conversion. Consist of Billit Plate, gasket, Throttle extention bracket, 50-200 hp jetting, all hardware

This is a complete system picture. System comes complete with a bottle capable of flowing 800hp with accessory ports in the side of the bottle valve, 300 hp purge port design solenoids, Stainless quick release bottle brackets, 16ft main feed line, plate conversion, all hardware etc.

What kind of shot will this system support? What is included in the conversion kit?

Ray@NitroDaves
02-27-2007, 03:50 PM
the plate itself can flow 350+...but I would not go over 200hp on a plate or nozzle setup on a LT1 Intake. Anything higher than 200 would be safer on a direct port.

The conversion will come with everything needed to switch from a nozzle to the plate.

Plate, jets bolts, brackets, gaskets, etc

How thick is the plate? Any problems with aligning cold air intakes on the TB after installing this? With just the stock TB w/out the plate my SLP cold air intake comes very close to the fan shroud on the front of the engine. I think with the added thickess of the plate it wouldn't fit correctly..
Nice looking system though!

Also, you guys are located in Waco correct? I drive through waco atleast once a month and was wondering if it would be possible to stop-in and buy a kit to save on shipping costs???

Thanks

Cody

I will double check but I think they are 3/4" thick.
Shouldn't affect the placement of the CAI enough to worry about, will just change the angle of the elbow slightly.
You are welcome to pick one up in person.

update:
The last batch were 3/4" thick...but we are going to try to get them a little thinner this go around

Will this work with the stock throttle body?

Ray@NitroDaves
03-05-2007, 11:03 PM
yes it will work with the stock TB....if you have the stock TB and no interest in adding the 58mm at a later date get the 52mm plate. If you are going to add the 58mm later, get the 58mm plate and have the intake bored to 58mm, to remove any lip that might be present behind the TB.

Good for you. Making the car quicker is always a good reason to put some extra hours in. ;) And Dave, why not have a few extra made up, even if you can't give the same price in the future?

Nitro Dave

Guys,
Our plate conversion does not have a extra bracket for the TV cable on the 93s. The conversion only has a bracket for the throttle cable. I have not tried to see if the tV cable on the 93s are long enough to allow extending forward a 1/2 to 3/4 on a inch. You may have to get creative with your stock bracket. Then again you may be able to just re adjust it. Im not real sure on that one.

Z rated94. We did order more. We have to geta lot more than 10 machined in order to keep it cost affective. I just wanted a commintment of 10 to show us there was a need for this product. Thanks to quite a bit more than 10 people you guys showed us there was a need for this product.
Thanks Guys.

Dave, do you have the final dimensions of the plate yet? If you can get me a final thickness of the plate I will talk to one of our vendors at work and see if they can make a cost effective bracket to replace the ones on the 93. I do know that on my 93 there is not enough cable adjustment for the plate thickness. That is why I asked about the new backet when I called.

Yes as long as the elbow does not have a really tall flange on it that would block the clearence of the fittings. Yes we can ship to Canada.

None of the units have shiped yet. We have been waiting on the machine shop to finish up. We are still on the time line I set forward in the oriinal post. I stated it would take RUFFLY 2 to 3 weeks from the time the special ended before we started shipping these units. When I talked to the machine shop last week he said he had a machine go down but we should have them this following week.( The week of 4-23- 07)

I will gladly cancell your order and credit you back. However you will need to cover the credit card fees we are charged for processing your order and then crediting it back.

All of our pms were messed up last week and we could not access them. They are fixed and working now so I am sure Ray will PM you back when he catches up.
Or you can give me a call and I can help you.
Thanks

Ok guys here is an update.
April the 20th was our 4 week target. It is now April the 30th so we are right at alittle over a week of my target deadline. In my original post I carefully put RUFFLY 3 to 4 weeks in there.lol

The process has taken longer than I hoped but the machine shop had a machine go down that pushed us back.

The plates are finshed and have been laser etched and annodized. We are waiting for the throttle brackets to come in and enough gaskets to fill all the orders. We bought our supplier on the gaskets out of stock.

I will have some really nice pictures of the plates up by the end of the week. Some may ship the end of this week depending on when the wot brackets get here.

I am real certain that when you see this plate it will be worth the wait.

Thank you guys for all your support and patience..
I really do appreciate you guys.

Hey guys. Just a FYI
We did not send instructions with the plate conversion. They will come with them in the future. We just need to get them together. So Im going to explain how to attach the throttle extention bracket here in this post. The rest is self explanatory.

1. The conversion will come with three small extention bracket pieces. These pieces have two holes in them. A counter sunk hole and a threaded hole. Using the counter sunk screws that come with the conversion bolt the bracket to the intake through the counter sunk hole. The extentions will be reaching towards the face of the car. Do not fully tighten.

2. Then take your factory Throttle cable bracket and bolt it to the extention brackets using your factory bolts. They will thread into the threaded hole in the extention bracket.
ATTENTION. You will need to grind your factory throttle cable bracket at the bottom for clearence reasons.

3. Fully tighten the counter sunk screws.

Another picture comming soon.

Let me know if you have any questions.
