what wheel for 15x8 draglites?

i need advice as to what drag radial or et street i should get for some 15x8 weld draglites. i want something that hooks good at the track for my set up. i have been told that if i get some slicks it will probably just slow me down instead of getting me a better et. these people have recommend to just get some drag radials on.

my current mods are 3.73 gears, cai, lt headers & ory, march pulleys, tuning, cc305, 1.6rr, 2800 stall, and a few smaller things. all this is on an LT1 z28

275/50/15 would be the same as a stock tire diameter. If you are not running out of third gear, I'd use these. If you're close to banging off the revlimiter, maybe try a 275/60/15 which is 2" taller. It will be slightly slower out of the hole but provides more contact patch for traction and consistancy and more speed in 3rd gear(if you have enough power).
