tires suggestions for stock wheels

I need to replace my tires, I have the stock 16x8 rims. I need some suggestions, its basically a stock car, I want good wear life, I dont go to the track. Any suggestions? I have about $500 to spend, but It can go +/- on that a bit.

Go to Tire Rack and do a "search by size" on:

245/50-16
255/50-16

Those are the best choices for the stock wheels. After you get a list of tires that will fit (they don't sell Nitto, so you have to look somewhere else for those), go to the "survey" results to see how the tires compare on wet traction, dry traction, cornering, treadwear, noise, etc. Pick the one that best suit your needs.

Get some kumhos. They are cheap, last a long time, and handle well in every weather condition.
