what kind of tire are you looking for? all season, summer, or straight up traction?
do you drive in the rain? snow? do you take a lot of corners fast?
what kind of rims? is your car lowered?
do you drive "spirited" on the street? do you plan on adding any more hp to your current set up?

With stock 16" wheels, there are not a lot of size choices. Stickiest drag radial seems to be the M/T ET Street Radial. You would be using a 255/50-16.

There are only about 3 choices. Goodrich, M/T and a Nitto. I have run the Goodrich for years, and just wanted to know if there was anything better. I have never herd of Nitto untill I picked up the Jegs catalog. I have a 30th anv. car white with orange stripe and white wheels ( stock ) I keep a set of drag tires mounted on a spare set of rims Thanks for the help:bow:

My choice is the MT ET STREET RADIAL.The 2.05 60ft i ran was on traction limited track(no concrete on launch) w/ a stock suspension.I also have them mounted on another set of rims(stk)When i talked to the MT rep and gave him my car spec,s he said i might get a1.95 60ft at a sticky track and near sea level.

2.05??? thats rather... hmmm sad..
I can get 1.9 on a street tires.. nittos should get ya a 1.8
with bfgs getting you 1.8-1.7 at least..
not sure about the MT but I like the looks of them..

The only thing that,s sad is our local track, and too make matters worse i have to go 150mi. to get to it:( Also last year i had 7-12KR on every run last year and w/the 52tb i lost low end tq which explains why my 60ft were even worse. BTW i had a set of near worn BFGDR before and my best 60ft was 2.13!
