Camaro Concept Hotwheel

Yesterday at the store I picked up another Camaro Concept Hotwheel. This is the 2nd one I bought and for some reason I wanted to keep this one in the packaging as well as the other one I have. After dinner I Ripped opened the package open and found my self playing with this stupid Hotwheel car all night like I was a little kid and dreaming when this car would be there for me to buy. . . Is this weird or is there anyone else out there that has done this or feels the same way.

Well, now that I have 16 of the silver and 7 of the red, I am tempted to take one of the silver ones out of the packaging, but then I'll probably lose it and I have no urge to play with it. :shrug: So I guess it shall stay wrapped.:)

Thats if there is anything left. You may be better off just trying your luck on Ebay if you want one that bad.

Thanks for the reply but since our H.W STK is 3-4 mo,s behind yours it will probably show up eventually and besides on EBAY some people won,t ship to CDN.:confused:

For the record, I've seen and bought Red Concept HW cars in Canada. At the local Walmart, all we seem to get is Silver concepts but at Save-On foods I see nothing but Red concepts. Check your Sobeys or Superstore or Save-On if you have one and you might be pleasantly surprised.

I just got a silver one today and the guy bagging the groceries said he was saving up for the real one.

I Have 11 Red And 11 Silver Hotwheel Concepts. Also One Silver One With The Chrome Base. Why Not Have Some Fun? I Took A Red One And Drilled The Rivets Out Of It And Removed The Interior, Frame And Winshield/back Window. Then I Cut The Roof Off And Made A Boot Cover From A Piece Of Form To Insert In The Area Between The Back Of The Trunk Lid And The Backseat Headrests. Now I Have A Red Hotwheel Concept Convertible. Mine Came Out Great.

There needs to be a "2009 Camaro die cast and collectibles" section.....

I just bought a couple of Silver ones at Wallmart here in St. Albert. I have yet to see a red one, but the Silver ones are definitely here in Canada.

I don't think they made a Concept Camaro in vert form. There is a Hotwheels vert Camaro but it is either a 67 or 69 I think, can't remember which off the top of my head.

Do you mean the sunset orange metallic with white interior convert. Its actually a '69 396 SS with the RS pkg. I have it next to the silver concept.

That was posted a little while back, I have been searching the stores on a daily basis and have had no luck. They are pretty easy to find on Ebay though for double-triple the price.:(

I haven't seen the SOM vert. There are plenty of the purple ones at every store I go to though.

I've been seeing them pop up alot more lately, I haven't bothered buying anymore, I have seven of them, it seems like enough.

I've seen the small packs, I didn't know they were putting concepts in them. I guess I will have to keep a look out for those now. I wonder if they are releasing them in both colors as well.

The '69 SOM has been in stores for a while,since last year.Now there is a dark red '69 vert with black pin stripe that has a flame pattern at the end.
...and yeah,I agree about the ebay thing.Ebay is only good for getting older diecast cars or to complete a series no longer around.

Yes the silver w/blk base seems to be common @Walmart and i just found a red one w/ blk base @Zellers and saw2 silver w/ blk base there as well.:)

Nice job. The craftmanship to cut the roof off a Hot Wheels car and still make it look that good is impressive.

Well I got my two red and silver. Not sure of the diffrent versions of the Hot Wheels.
But also got my Green Light Garage versions and got the CamaroZ28.com versions comming when they are out. Signed by all including Scott.

Its gotten to the point now where I am seeing both the red and silver in many of the stores I go, but I pass up on them now. I am on the hunt for that Real Ryders Hotwheels set that has the 1st and 5th gen.:cool:
