Can still see old decals that have been removed on glass? also installing a mirror

alright bought a Mustang, there is a horsey on the backwindow I will be removing soon.

but there also is the sight of a decale for "Wild Horse" "Somthing something Mustang Club"

yeah mustang owners are gay for putting that all over their back window. you cannot see the removed decals from the outside, window looks clean but when you look out the window from the back you see a faint site of it. What do you suggest to try and clean it off?

Also rearview mirror was missing. Any tips on installing the new one? just clean and glue little tab on?

I have the same problem with the decal outline on my z28. the old owner had a tacky bowtie that you can't see from the outside (5% tint), but inside is a green bowtie
