Camaro_Maniac63 02-10-2007, 08:51 PM Howdy,
I want to trade my true-dual exhaust with bullet mufflers (off of the 1997 Z28) for a conventional y-pipe and catback setup for the same car. The true duals are in very good shape, and they bolt right up to my Hooker long-tubes. E-mail me at ft.atalay@gmail.com if interested. By the way, I am in Tampa. Thanks!
-Tony
sam pace 02-10-2007, 10:25 PM send me/post some pics i'm in clearwater, fl.
Camaro_Maniac63 02-10-2007, 11:11 PM They are still on the car and I unfortunately don't have a lift to get good shots of the exhaust. They are 2.5" true duals with an X-pipe, using two bullet mufflers and dump right before the axle. The tubing is aluminized, and has been coated with a high temperature silver paint.
What kind of exhaust do you have on your car? Thanks for your interest.
louvit 02-11-2007, 06:48 AM Ihave a edelbrock muffler with stock tips welded on. No pipes, just muffler if you are interested in buying it.

Javier97Z28 02-11-2007, 05:30 PM Tony,
I have a custom built Ypipe specifically for Hooker LT's (flanged, etc) + a Hooker catback (no tips). The catback even has a cutout welded in. I'm in North Palm Beach.
Here's a few pics:

Who made your x-pipe, what type of bullets? What brand of Xpipe.
Thanks. I'll also send ya an email.

Thanks, but I would like at least a 3" catback; this will be going on a 383 ci engine.

Which SLP catback is this (I do not know much about them)? Also, what do the Flowmaster tips look like? Thanks.

What brand is the catback? I am very interested in this, please let me know...

This also sounds good... When you say no tips though, do you mean it has a hideaway turn-down type of tip, or it has nothing at all? Thanks.

Thanks. I'll also send ya an email.
The X-pipe is a Dr. Gas unit, and the bullets are Dynomax bullets.
Thanks for the interest everyone, didn't think these would be this popular :)
Javier97Z28 02-11-2007, 09:02 PM Tony, it has a set of Polished T304 stainless exhaust tips that I would like to keep in case I want them in the future. I would cut these off and keep them. I would be willing to sell them for $50 on top of the trade. They look amazing IMO:
Let me know if interested, I'll most likely take the setup off your hands if you'd like. I'll take some full pictures of everything as it sits tomorrow for you if you'd like. It's all off the car right now.
Nice part about my ypipe is that you won't need to mess with the collector setup at all, it's ready to bolt up.
Are they the 12" or 18" case bullets?

Thanks for the quick reply, and I would also like to see some pictures if it is not too much trouble for you. I might be interested in those tips as well, they would match my chrome wheels nicely....
As for them being 12" or 18" case bullets; I think they are the shorter type; I am having a hard time remembering. Right now I am in Atlanta away from the car, but I will ask my brother to take a look at them tomorrow evening if that is OK with you. Thanks.
Javier97Z28 02-11-2007, 09:25 PM That's just fine, no problem. I am very interested.
I'll try to get pics tomorrow or tuesday at the latest.
r.serio 02-12-2007, 04:04 AM Take me out of the running. I have a few locals interested. Thx.
Javier97Z28 02-14-2007, 09:35 AM Tony, I took some pics last night... I'll post them when I get home tonight.
Camaro_Maniac63 02-14-2007, 10:52 AM Sounds good, thanks.
Camaro_Maniac63 02-17-2007, 11:07 AM I just measured the mufflers; they are the 12" ones. Here are a few crappy pictures I took with the car on the ground:
