TRANSFORMERS MOVIE ULTIMATE BUMBLEBEE
(Approximate Retail Price: $89.99; Ages: 5 & up; Available: Fall 2007)
Fans of TRANSFORMERS will love seeing BUMBLEBEE come to life on the big screen and this fall, they can experience the ULTIMATE BUMBLEBEE action figure, which is among the most realistic and technical TRANSFORMERS toys ever. The impressively styled Chevrolet Camaro Concept car changes into the beloved AUTOBOTS character, which stands an imposing 14 inches tall. BUMBLEE will “come to life” with robot animatronics action in both car and robot modes. Working headlights, battle sounds, and music, including Devo’s “Whip It”, all add to the interactive experience.

Wow that is one amazing toy. I hope the directions are very clear because just looking at the steps needed to make the robot turn into the Camaro and then back would be complicated. $90 might be worth it if it works as well as it looks.

Ok, here's a link to some pics that are still up. This thing looks and sounds like it will be awesome.......supposedly it's voice activated, animatronic, etc. If it will change from the Camaro form to robot on it's own, I think it's worth the price.

That's what the robot mode should have looked like in the movie. Less broken apart and distorted.

As a Camaro AND Transformers fan, I may get this.

I wouldn't mind having that in my collection... maybe the 90 dollar price tag isn't set in stone?

The $90 price tag is $70 richer than I am willing to pay. It would have to have lights, sound, and automatically transform for that price. Oh, and considering I'm not a transformers fan particularly, my purchase would be VERY highly dependent on how realistic the car looks untransformed. It looks nice here, but I dunno... $90?

Here's some other pics I found. So far... I don't think I'll be getting it. I'd rather have the $90.

I noticed the other day that I don't care for the headlights in it much. Something's not quite right...

Still pretty neat-o. LOL But I probably will wait for a cheaper version. (That and I wanna find the dang G1 Soundwave reissue from Toys R Us that I missed@!!!Dammit!)

Yeah it looks like the sort of thing my kids could pretty easily "transform" into a broken pile of junk.

By the time this hits Walmart or Toys R US it will be $40-$50 bucks

The only Transformer I have seen to go over $60 was on of the collector edditions and it even could be found later at $40.

My kid is all about transformers and I hate them. But I may buy myself this one.

Watch for prices to drop a few months after the movie if not sooner.

Wow. 'Hate' Transformers? I've heard people say they 'didn't care for them' when they were younger. But never anything THAT strong. LOL How old's your kid? And did you grow up with Transformers? 'Cause if the current batch of crappy cartoons are your first experience with Transformers I can understand your extreme dislike.

Transformers = Greatest Cartoon Concept Ever! ;)

Sorry if hate is a strong word but let me tell you where it comes from.

I did not grow up with them and really have no problem with the cartoon.

My problems stems from the last 2.5 years of birthdays and Christmas of those damn wire ties in the box that holds the toys in. If I am at home I go and get the side cutters and make due but if we are at Grandma's Uhhh!!!

Also the first year was daddy can you transform this for the 72nd time tonight. I did not mid doing it but your fingers get more sore than if I had just changed a set of headers in a 4th Gen.

Also they have taken over the house. I have a few in the room now and they are looking at me and I don't think they really care for me either.

Either way I told my son mommy can get him the new Optimus and me the Bumble Bee. He just better not touch my Bumble Bee or Im telling!
