this is my 74 formula at full weight (~3900~) on ET streets at gainesville. weather was almost ideal, temps low 60's, no humidity or wind to speak of.
i got done relocating the fuel pump in time to get to the track last night (thanks to some help from a local shop). i got new best times across the board, but mph is still down due to fuel issues. the run looked like this: 1.66 60 ft., 7.59 1/8 and 12.02 1/4. the car shut off right after the first run and i didn't get to make another pass. after some investigation we discovered that the fuel pressure was set too high and a piece of trash appears to have clogged the regulator (the pump works fine but the regulator spikes the needle). i blew out the new lines with high pressure air before installing them, but something must have made it in there. i'm pretty confident now that the car will run in the 11's when it gets fuel on the entire run. last night it didn't pull all the way to redline in 1st or 2nd gear.
