Love the interior, wouldn't change a thing in the convertibles interior. The headlights are badd A$$. Wheels being the same size as the concepts and the stance. Also the clean look of the engine.

I hope both cars as they stand make production, if certain things like the interior and wheels are toned down a bit to keep it within cost, I would certainly understand though.

I dont really like the Vert Wheels, they look like the optional Mustang wheels.

I really hope that they keep all the exterior body work, the exhaust, the lights, and the brakes(although i highly doubt that will have nice calipers like the concept). I also love the interior. I know that alot of the aluminum pieces will have to go, but i love the gauges and all the other interior pieces, obviously they will change the radio. But i looooove the inside. although i think im the minority.

I also hope they give good options, i would like a nice hood, stripes, HUD, navi, suspension, and hp upgrades straight from the factory if they are available.

..... stripes, cowl hood .....
 I want factory painted stripes on a cowl hood :thumb:. Although, the slight rise of the hood on the concept is probably enough, but at least have the stripes as a factory option, instead of having to add them on later.

A package that includes a 400+ hp/6 speed manual powertrain with a sports suspension and big brakes for around $30k. I don't need navigation; I already know how to get to Lime Rock, Loudon, and New England Dragway. :D

I wouldnt mind being able to really order the car with special configurations.. that would be cool.. maybe a SS/RS version like the 60's.. stuff like that.

I saw a rendition of the 5th gen with the traditional tear drop hood instead of the slit the Concept has on the nose and I thought it looked a ton better. I would love to see the tear drop hood in production.

I would like to see a RS option like in 69. And of course the main part of the RS option would be the headlight covers as in 69. Also making a stripe package an option on any Camaro including the six cylinder. This would still enable buyers of the six cyclinder Camaro to make their car look hot. Let people option out their cars to what they can afford.

I don't care about any GADGETS!!!!!

I only want a few things,

Offer stripper packages with cloth MANUAL seats, hardtop and a simple stero (make it am/fm/xm and i'm good), make the exterior a stripper too simple and clean with 18's or whatever lightweight wheels you have.

Two V8's

L76 6.0L or L92/L76 6.2L
LS7

If the LS7 comes available i'm in.

Black, Hardtop, M6, lowest rear end gear I can get (3.73" 8.5" 10 bolt would be nice), suspension package, and a LS7!!!!! I'd pay $35-30K for that. Rather pay $30K though.

If anything put a L92/L76 head on one of these motors!

Digital display/info center on dash
Two-tone interior (body matching color?)
Gauges on console
Steering wheel (metal!)
HUD
Front turn signals outside of headlights (like the coupe)
Angel Eyes around headlights
HIDs
Leather interior
Seat Texture (looks like ribbing)

Did previous generations of Camaros come with a HUD option? I know the 2000 Z-28 that my brother owned didn't have it, but I don't remember if it was an option.

I'm willing to pay high 30's even maybe 40k for an LS7 or equivalently powered motor as long as it's a rare combo. I'm the engine in a box crowd so I could care less about the other stuff, except the gauges are extremely ugly but I think that is a universal opinion as far as I have heard. Easy to read gauges and make them in 10 mph increments, I hate that 20mph increment crap everyone seems to do now.

Nope - no Camaro has ever had the option of a HUD. But it's such a useful feature! To me it's a huge safety benefit and I'd be very disappointed if the 5th gen didn't get one.

I was out today driving a friend's '06 M6 GTO and one thing I was not too impressed with was the long throws in the shifts. I know this is a pretty minor detail and you can get a shift kit to shorten the throws, but I would like for the new Camaro to have much shorter throws than the GTO.

Goodness, where to start? I just want the whole freaking thing to make production yesterday. Being more specific, I really want my console gauges, and even though they probably will not offer it, I would love an RS with hide-aways.

OK GM, listen up. I'm one of those guys that missed out on owning a first gen Camaro. Now I simply don't have the time to devote to a project (I'm in the military and Barrett-Jackson has ruined it for most of us anyway) but this new car........man it could be sweet redemption for alot of us who love those wonderful 67-69 models. Here's the trick, make em for Camaro lovers first and foremost and the almighty bottom line will surely follow. Just give us half the options you listed when I bought my Silverado and Tahoe and man we'll be very very pleased. No, not just a silly little v6 and basic v8. Give us a real Z28, a real SS and for the sake of all that is good a bada$$ ZL-1. Take a lesson from Ford and don't screw up and get your rear kicked by Dodge and it's retro Challenger. GM has always been so slow to catch up, but if it builds the right car with some real musclecar options then maybe we'll enter a new musclecar era and those of us who missed the first and those wonderful rides will surely rejoice and get our chance to own our very own GM built musclecar.

Note that they will be just for "show" because the relevant info will be also in the idiot lights/computer display.

At first I thought Navigation should be included. But recent studies showing it lowers trade in value, and the fact that I never did like those big ugly screens in the dash have caused me to change my mind.

We just bought a portable Garmin GPS unit and I'd MUCH rather use that than have the dash permanantly ruined with the hideous factory installed unit.
