Looking for a good shop in Ventura

New to modding a Camaro. It's been awhile since I've owned a 3rd Gen and I would like to find a reputable shop to install a nitrous set up with full safetys on my '89 IROC . I've done lots of mods on my vettes, but it's all been about natural aspiration. This is my first experience with nitrous. I'm in the Ventura area.

Thanks for your help.

Pretty easy to do... Is your car TBI or TPI?

TPI, I don't mind paying extra bucks for a clean, 1st rate job.

I would recommend a plate kit then (it's a plate that will mount behind your TB to spray the fuel and nitrous)...

Where do you want the bottle mounted? Do you want the whole system hidden?

Welcome to the fun of owning a thirdgen. Check out our local thirdgen club at http://www.sc3g.org/ and also the SoCal Forum at http://www.thirdgen.org/ You just missed our February meeting but we're having a cruise to Temecula in a couple weeks, and there are three events in March I just posted.
I dont know anyone to do a nitrous install, though. Almost all of our members use air only.
Try these guys: http://www.qmpracing.com/ and tell them Kevin from Manley referred you.

And I know a great place for nitrous install.
Frenchican, there's a ton of good people at that club, check it out.
Cheers

Sounds good... I meet with the Vette guys once a month and that's where I usually get lots of good info. That and places like this forum. Good chance you'll see me soon. I just put the IROC in the paint shop, then it's off to get some suspension work and tires/wheels. So it should be road worthy end of March.

Cheers,

Tommy

A@A doesn't work on Camaros?

You might wanna ask over at Smogies smog shop on 3940 Market St, Ventura. I had my Camaro there getting it smogged and he told me to go over and introduce myself to some guy at Airgas who was in a local Camaro club. I never went though because of going overseas and I haven't been back home since. Worth a try if you haven't found anything.
