I went in 2004 and with this new date, I think I might be able to come back again!

It's a great event guys. If you have any passion for your car and any testosterone in you, you'll sign up! You'll get more seat time than you could ever want in 3 days autocrossing, open tracking on the road course and drag racing. If you want, you can spend 8 hours a day, 3 days straight using your f-body for what it was made for!

Can I come if I don't have an f-body?

Yes sir! You will see several Vettes GTOs Cadilacs. This event Started years ago as an Fbody only event but many long time members moved on to other rides so it has opened up to almost everybody. You may need special approval to bring a mustang though :D

See sig

I didn't mean to imply you had a mustang ;) I was just covering the bases although we have had a mustang rental car being doged on the road course when a member didn't have his car ready for the event :D

We would prefer that if people didn't cross-post. Too much of that and there is no reason to have separate forums.

I've been under the car tonight, preparing for this very event!!!

After going to the 2005 event, and missing the 2006 event, there's no way that I want to miss the 2007 event. I hadn't had as much fun with the T/A in like, nearly twenty years. I hit the autocross course something like seventeen times, took home buku timeslips, and hit 140+ in the back straight of the road course before nearly losing my hood.

I came over here to cz28 to post this exact same thread. Good job Jeff.

Guys, really....us mentioning the event this way doesn't do it justice, I and many others re-arrange our entire schedule and cram work on our cars to get ready for it. It's the best possible vacation for someone, even a family, that loves cars and racing. There is nothing that I can think of that that even comes close, and I've been racing for 13 years. I wait all year for this event and can't wait to see you guys out there.

Come once and you'll be addicted.

Looking at your SIG, it appears that you have your car configured well enough for a long distance road trip... Why not just drive the car out there? I'm not taking any trailer, just going to take out my rear seats, then try to caravan with someone who can take my drag tires in the back of their pickup truck! I know that there are folks coming from New York to this event, along with Connecticut residents, so you could probably hook up with someone.

Registration and payment are OPEN! Talk about a good deal, my bill for my wife and I, including the banquet was $168! That's 3 days of all the racing you can do, all the fun you can imagine. NOW THAT'S HARD TO PASS UP!

This is the 1st and maybe only year we're allowing new folks to attend without joining the mailing list or the forum, so get in while you can, you won't regret it. Ask anyone that's ever come, there is no better event to attend, period.

Registration closes in less than 1 month, sign up today!

Big scare today James,

I blew my FAST XFI ECM !!!

However, luckily I'm an electrical engineer and it turned out to be a blown-up trace and a shorted transient voltage supressor. At least, I hope that's all that got hosed. If it don't work with the new parts, I'm up a creek for NFME!!

Dan's new mantra:
"No battery chargers when the ECM's connected!"
