anyone tried this?????1TL_82Z 02-05-2007, 04:06 PM stock manifolds, stock cat, into a dynomax bullet, and then a y to duals out the back? What do you guys think, how would it sound? Colin91Z 02-05-2007, 06:52 PM You mean has anyone ever run an SLP loudmouth cat-back, but replaced the SLP resonator with a dynomax bullet muffler? Yes. Do a search with the word "dynomouth" and look at some pics. It's fairly popular. I'm pretty sure that its the set-up you're asking about... http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=31042&BIG=31042-1 Jared 3870 02-05-2007, 08:09 PM If you are doing it on a budget, I have heard of several guys having a muffler shop put a bullet muffler in the I-pipe and having the factory muffler removed and a y pipe in its place. Labor and parts would probably be considerably cheaper than the LM. If your biggest concern is sound thats what I would do. Do a search, there is a picture floating around of how to do it. Print it off and take it to your exhaust shop, or do it yourself. Chitown 02-05-2007, 11:28 PM I am stock from manifolds to a dynomax bullet then over the axle with the y out the back (TSP Setup). I like it alot. Sounds pretty damn good for pretty much stock. 1TL_82Z 02-06-2007, 11:11 AM Thanx!! You guys definitely know your stuff on here. I have all stock exhaust right now with a cutout. I don't care for it, too loud. I'm gonna give that a try. Thanx again. | ||
