Never happened.....:( apss 01-29-2007, 10:28 PM IT LOOKS LIKE MY GRANDMA DRIVING. pearlpurple 01-29-2007, 10:31 PM All that video does is piss you off that they don't get on it. Excactly my thoughts, is there any video of this thing actually getting on it?? I would like to see some tire shredding, or some quick passes at least something. grossesexy 01-29-2007, 10:34 PM For everyone asking why they weren't hammering on it, it's limited to like 35-40 miles per hour as someone already said in this thread....like 3 posts up...really obviously.... blackrat 01-29-2007, 10:40 PM still fugly. pearlpurple 01-29-2007, 11:01 PM For everyone asking why they weren't hammering on it, it's limited to like 35-40 miles per hour as someone already said in this thread....like 3 posts up...really obviously.... Ya I can read as well, my point is,,, is there any 09 Camaro video out there that has the car doing something exciting,,,, or,,, is this the only one,,, or,,,, are all of the 09 Camaros stifled to less than 40 mph,, for a sports car that is supposed to be something awesome you would think they would throw us a video of something to write home about other than the stunning good looks. Don't get me wrong it is nice to see the thing rolling around as to me I think it is the nicest of the three come back cars (Mustang/Challenger/Camaro) grossesexy 01-29-2007, 11:07 PM Ya I can read as well, my point is,,, is there any 09 Camaro video out there that has the car doing something exciting,,,, or,,, is this the only one,,, or,,,, are all of the 09 Camaros stifled to less than 40 mph,, for a sports car that is supposed to be something awesome you would think they would throw us a video of something to write home about other than the stunning good looks. Don't get me wrong it is nice to see the thing rolling around as to me I think it is the nicest of the three come back cars (Mustang/Challenger/Camaro) The car isn't production ready yet, so it's kind of hard to have video of something that doesn't exist at this point. SCNGENNFTHGEN 01-29-2007, 11:11 PM The car IS pure badass. Even going slow it looks meaner than a junkyard dog! Narcah 01-29-2007, 11:35 PM Someone at least make some decent cgi. :p AZ2ENVY 01-29-2007, 11:40 PM This forum requires that you wait 60 seconds between posts. Why are you people putting this in your posts  buzz12586 01-29-2007, 11:43 PM Seeing that the car cost about 6 million to make they are being careful with it. It goes to lots of auto shows and they don't want some idiot wrecking it by doing donuts. Need4Camaro 01-30-2007, 12:01 AM thats pretty old, it was filmed in dallas last spring YES I KNEW IT WAS DALLAS!!! I KNEW IT KNEW IT KNEW IT!!! Kudos for me!!! :D SCNGENNFTHGEN 01-30-2007, 12:02 AM Why are you people putting this in your posts  You read my mind! Everytime I see that, that's what I'm thinking. allmotorta 01-30-2007, 12:12 AM You read my mind! Everytime I see that, that's what I'm thinking. add me to that list '86 350 01-30-2007, 08:27 AM For everyone asking why they weren't hammering on it, it's limited to like 35-40 miles per hour as someone already said in this thread....like 3 posts up...really obviously.... Burnouts take place below 40 mph..... 85_305 01-30-2007, 10:36 AM You gonna buy one of those too? :p   thats pretty old, it was filmed in dallas last spring Dammit! Dammit I suck! But why would you keep this to yourself and not even have the curtesy to share it with your beloved cz28'ers :shame: JasonD 01-30-2007, 12:20 PM Wow you guys make me mad   http://youtube.com/watch?v=kwDVrfHzko8&mode=related&search= First of all...you guys REALLY REALLY need to get out of the Lounge and into the 2009 Camaro forums more often. I am moving this thread to the right one now. Please keep it in mind when posting about the upcoming Camaro. You should also frequent our video server, which has a 2009 Camaro video section: http://videos.camaroz28.com/category/2009+Camaro+Concept/0.htm I have a bunch more videos that I need to upload yet. All that video does is piss you off that they don't get on it. You can't. I held the gas pedal to the floor and it would not go over 40mph. From the article at: http://www.camaroz28.com/articles/concepttestdrive/index.shtml Since the car was hand fabricated using the chassis parts of other existing vehicles, it was never intended to be driven much and was more designed to sit and be looked at. As a result, it is limited to only 40mph. Also see this thread... http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=459085 IIRC the car is set to not go over 40 mph Yep, this is correct...because.... Seeing that the car cost about 6 million to make they are being careful with it. It goes to lots of auto shows and they don't want some idiot wrecking it by doing donuts. And that has happened more than once in the past. Too big of a risk these days. So...who will be the first to get video of their 2009 Camaro "getting on it"? ChrisL 01-30-2007, 04:46 PM pretty sure it cost GM alot more than $6 million to create the 1st silver car. Mister Will 01-30-2007, 09:34 PM That just might be worth waiting for. As opposed to buying the other GM performance vehicle. 2tight 02-09-2007, 12:00 PM Yes it was made at White Rock Lake. Dallas Tx Rasidel 02-10-2007, 01:08 AM that's hot. OctaneZ28 02-10-2007, 08:51 PM Someone at least make some decent cgi. :p Hows this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oN9JoDbECn0  Steven Whitaker made that. :) | ||
