E cutoutswildweasel 01-29-2007, 07:23 PM How long do E cutouts last... how long until the motor burns up or the butterfly starts to stick? 2001NBMZ28 01-29-2007, 08:05 PM Get the one with the best warranty - don't last forever. I uncap/cap mine manually now - only takes a minute. myslowcamaro 01-29-2007, 08:19 PM best warranty is always good. i had a qtp, only prob with it was when closing it, you had to re-open and reclose to seat it properly, could have been carbon build-up. never had a problem other wise. 2000GTP 01-29-2007, 09:11 PM Like any electrical device, it may not last forever, but should last you a long time.:) nodnarb481 01-29-2007, 10:04 PM mine has lasted me so far.. a day! horray! i just put it in and man is it fun. Its good because i can open and close it whenever i want now instead of opening it and in case of cops or something not being able to close it back up again. I found a sight that sells the motors and my dad is great with electric work and what not so if it dies ill probly just buy a $20 and fix it myself (i dont have a warranty) LeadSSled 01-29-2007, 11:25 PM The DMH cutouts have a no questions asked 4 year warranty. I have had mine for 3 years and have sent them back twice for a rebuild/refresh - but I race a lot. The first time, Dave rebuilt them back to good as new. The last time - right before Christmas, he was too busy to rebuild them, so he just replaced them with a brand new pair! He had great customer service and a nice product. I've been very happy with them. www.dmhperformance.com | ||
