i just bought a set of ws6 rims for my 95 T.A, and two of the rims have 315/35/17 nitto dragradials on them , will i have problems with these tires mounted on them? i thought 315's were to wide for a ws6 rim? they seem to look ok??? i havent tried to put them on the car yet

 

i have 315s on my 17x9.5" ZR1s. technically your not supposed to. many people say its a big nono, i havent had any problems whatsoever. Nittos run a big smaller than most of tires so they fit fairly well, whereas a 315 BFG will be way too big for that rim.

 

nittos are very small tires so they will fit with a small bulge. like stated above, any bigger tire wouldn't work....some place wont even mount any 315's on a 9" wheel

 

yea i have 9.5" wide rims also and am pondering on throwing a 315 or 305 Nitto 555R's on them....but i dn i dont wanna screw things up
