My current exhaust system is Mac mids to mac high flow cat to loud mouth with a chambered muffler in the place of the loudmouth resonator. It sounds great.. My question is, do you guys think it would become annoyingly loud if i replace the car with a straight through pipe?

Thanks

It will probably be very raspy without having the cat in place. Maybe consider a 30 dollar cutout... that should make it louder and if you don't like the sound, then just cap it back up.

i run Hooker LTs and ORY pipe into a dynomax bullet and loudmouth catback. its kinda raspy however ive been searching and considering putting a chambered muffler in place of my bullet and im under the impression it is loud but not raspy like most LMs. i would think it wouldnt be too bad with the chambered muffler.

i have the exact same set up as you, but i still have the LM resonator in. did the chambered muffler make a big difference? is it worth it?

no. If you already have the HF cat in place I would leave it alone because you're not losing any power and the exhaust doesn't stink like it does with no cat in place. It would not sound any better, trust me...

i'm actually doing it for ground clearance. :) not for sound or performance.

I hear ya there..i had the mac mids with a single HF cat and it scratched on everything. Keep the cat tho, it will rasp really bad without one..
