ok so i kinda jacked this turbo from one of our old strait 6 diesels engines that runs a generator.... i was woundering how do i measure it to tell what size it is? its a garrett the cold A/R is .60 and the exhaust A/R is .69. there is a marking on the cold side "m-24". the im planning on turning this into a turbine engine while over here. i have nothing better to do....... im sure this will get moved to a differnt place but at least a few people will see it and be able to tell me how to measure this lil turbo.

Take the compressor cover off and measure the compressor wheel's inducer (the smallest diameter of the wheel that would be closest to the inlet of the compressor housing).
Example: a Garrett GT42-02. The compressor inducer can either be 74mm or 76mm and the exducer is 102mm. So if you got the turbo that has the 74mm inducer, its consider a T74 or 74mm.
