Risks to leaving Zaino on too long, dust?

Has anyone ever given any thought to the fact that if you leave Z products on too long that when buffing off later you may create light scratches due to airborne contaminents settling out on the surface? or is it just me, should I be concerned about this in the future? I have heard that people have left Z products on over night, granted how much sh!t could really settle out of the air in that short of a period of time, but when it comes to some users who are so careful as to use the correct white 100% cotton sans polyestor stitching and go thru such preparation to minimize light swirling, just wondering if this has ever been considered...

You could have a problem if there is a lot of dust in the area you're work in, I have let Zaino sit on my car for a few days before but my garage is pretty dust free, I would be careful if doing this on a regular basis.

I've had to leave my car sit a few times. I just pull out the electric leaf blower I use for drying the car and blow all the dust off of the car, then buff off the polish.

Well, if you use Z6 gloss enhancer between each coat, it will reduce dust and dirt pickup by ~60%. ;)

Yeah, there is going to be a risk the longer you leave it on the car. I've left Z on overnight and several hours the next day without any issues. But then again, I use a garage too. If you can't work under cover in a stable environment, it's best to apply and remove it ASAP. I usually do get a little tiny bit of dust, but just blowing the car off is all it takes. Never had any serious issues with this, but I don't do this often either. Regardless of where the car is, you always run a greater risk leaving it on longer. Just be aware of this and watch for any dust accumulation and you'll be OK.

What you obviously need to do is install a sterile paint booth-like environment in your garage!!

Duh!

Just kidding ;) :p

(I am REALLY bored this morning... lol)

Kevin, got any pictures of you drying the car with the leaf blower?

Nope, kind of hard to hold the camera out with one hand and the blower in the other ;)
